Cal. 22 Win Mag. S# 303876. Bbl. 24". Model 61 slide action rifle mfg. by Winchester in 1959. Left side of the bbl. is marked with the Winchester trademark logo, followed by the model and cal. designations. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, save for on the bolt, which is polished in-the-white. Plain wood pistol grip buttstock, with grooved wood pump. Dovetailed blade front sight, with dovetailed U-notch rear sight. Matching numbers are present on the upper and lower assemblies. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting areas of light to mild edge wear, some superficial handling marks, as well as some light surface oxidation overall. Mirror bore, retaining well defined rifling throughout. Wood furniture shows scattered marks from handling and storage, but otherwise remains sturdy and serviceable.
